The Cabarfeidh Hotel
Introduction
Rightly known as 'Stornoway's finest hotel' - the Cabarfeidh (pronounced cab-ar-fay) is a luxurious, three star hotel, where you can relax in comfort - whether you're visiting us on holiday, for business, for functions, or to enjoy dining in our Manor Restaurant.
What matters so much more than bricks and mortar, though, is the warmth of the welcome you'll receive - for the Hebrides has a great tradition of hospitality.
Put simply, our biggest strengths are in our people - all committed to workimg hard to provide you with a truly enjoyable visit.
Set in its own attractive gardens and within a mile of Stornoway's town and harbour areas, the Cabarfeidh is close to the historic Lews Castle grounds and the town's 18 hole golf course. The hotel is 3.3 miles (5 km) from the airport and 1.1 miles (1.8 km) from the Calmac ferry terminal.
In addition to 46 excellent guest rooms, the Cabarfeidh has the Outer Hebrides' largest range of versatile function rooms, providing for large conferences, small business meetings, trade shows, retail sales, dances, weddings, clan gatherings, etc.

Relax in comfort… all you need from a hotel room
The Cabarfeidh has been the subject of several complete refurbishments, since being built in the 1970s.
During the winter of 2005 and spring of 2007, we have completed a large part of the latest refit, which has provided extremely pleasant, comfortable bedrooms, of the standard you would expect of an international four star hotel.
Our decor is tasteful and warm - just like the welcome.
Bedrooms follow two colour themes - Autumnal russet shades, shown here, or Cool blues which you can see by clicking the image below. You're welcome to request your choice.

Carefully selected fresh local seafood of the highest quality features on our menus, alongside tender, well reared Lewis lamb and venison.

From the intimate Oak Suite to the majestic Manor ballroom, there's an ambience of character here, that will lend itself to your wedding, family party or social gathering.
Whether you're planning a banquet for 200 - with dancing to a live band, a world clan gathering, or a simple celebration for less than a dozen guests, we can provide the perfect environment.
Conference & Business Meetings
From a theatre space to seat 350, to a simple meeting over a pot of coffee, the Cabarfeidh has a complete range of facilities for business.
While we are used to staging meetings and conferences for local commerce and institutions, we also provide for many off-island clients. The ballroom operates well as a sale room for trading functions.
